WEATHER AND CLIMATE
All the weathers existing in Costa Rica are present in the Province of San José in view that its territory embraces from the coastlines up to the highest summit in the country, Chirripó Mountain, at 3819 metres of altitude.
Although, in general terms most of San José's territory is blessed with a moderate and springy climate with very warm mornings and lukewarm evenings. The average temperature is of 23º Celsius with a maximum of 30º Celsius and a minimum of 18º.
The dry season in Costa Rica's capital is from December to March whilst the rainy and misty season begins in May and ends in October, though precipitations drop in July due to the so-called "little summer", a change in the air circulation that prolongs for close to three weeks.
